TOMY is committed to product development. As a manufacturer of quality laboratory equipment, TOMY began in Japan in 1958 and continues to design instruments with thoughtful and useful features. One of TOMY’s latest offerings include the Rack-In-Rotor system for the MX Series centrifuges. This novel rotor system consists of a carbon fiber shell (rotor) and drop in racks for high speed centrifugation. Debuting in September 2009 is Kitman refrigerated micro centrifuge featuring relay programming options to help automate DNA/RNA purification protocols. On November 30, 2010, TOMY closed its North American Office. They signed a distribution agreement with CS Bio Co. to continue providing sales and technical support services.
